then there was that time

when i thought i had a career path but didn't; when i saw The Daily Show with Jon Stewart and the special guest was Amy Sedaris, who was cool, but probably not as cool (term used loosely) as John Ashcroft, who was on the next night; when i couldn't rent Twin Peaks anywhere in my whole county but then discovered that my parents belong to Facets, an online rental service that is the all-things-obscure equivalent to NetFlix; when i didn't have a Halloween costume yet (!!); when i got really drunk and sang Shiny Happy People at my sister's 29th karaoke birthday party with her and my brother; when i read books about how to find the right career for you while sitting on the floor at Border's; when i was a waitress; when i was an intern and realized that interning sucks; when i looked rooms/shared ads on craigslist until 2 am, dreaming about the day i move out; when i started trying to draw; when i missed all of you.

what obscure items is netflix lacking?
did you deliver food on a tray? did you have a collapsable table to set up your tray if you had a tray to deliver food? is it spelled trey? do you remember that time when torture kids would go out for drinks and movies and picnics? that was very nice.

Do you remember that time when you decided to go to Denver?

Chris: Twin Peaks. No trays for food; trays only for drinks if there are more than three. No. Definitely not. YES!
Elsie: Um. Yes?
