Good job
Today a third-grade boy (Louis, who reads in fascinating fragments) was making a heart-shaped card for his mother out of pink construction paper (4 layers of paper, glued together, folded in half. With "I love you, Mom." in pencil), and I said, "Hey, Louis--that's cool," and he looked up at me. And he erased "Mom." And now it says, "I love you, Miss Bell." So I win.
