1. bear with me here kids, i finally broke into 'the omnivore's dilemma' and i just can't help myself. COWS DON'T NATURALLY EAT CORN!! i felt like screaming it on the bus this morning. we've fucking forced cows to change their diet at their expense, the land, and ours. cows fed corn get fat quicker, help move the giant corn surplus that has grown in the past 30 years. but this meat is also less healthy for us, contributing to our own health problems. man!

3. small torture gathering of 3 occurred back in the old center of learning over the weekend. panpan heard bill. i had my fix on zingerman's and rode the train back to the city slightly buzzed after guzzling 2 oberons. chris orchestrated an excellent bbq.
sorry, but i have a feeling that 'the dilemma' will continue to rile me up in the coming weeks.
