I am writing a letter of resignation now and quitting my television job. Here is the reason-- it is 1:00PM and I've just woken up, because it's Tuesday. Tuesday is the weekend for us Thursday-Monday shifters, though it is not weekend but week for everyone else, a population which in Greenville, Mississippi includes everyone I know.
My response? Sleep until you can't sleep no more. But no more: I am resigning today. Ok, two weeks more. Then I hope to be a secretary.
