two things

1. I work in a room with many machines. On the many accompanying screens are silent talking faces, also exploding buildings and pregnant teenagers, un-employed men who treat their women wrong and the women who love them, also oprah in paris and oprah in mississippi, married couples who have sex with others and people who claim to be 'asexual', also mystery diseases, people who can't see faces and men who forget their wives and the women who love them. you know, news stuff.
It is so cold, to acommodate the machines, that I have to wear a sweater and even so my hands cramp from the cold by the end of a shift. I did not pack many sweaters when I moved to Mississippi because I did not know about machines then.

2. I just improvised broiled tostada shells. It worked, my kitchen does not smell like oil, I used a toaster oven. broil 5 mins at 6 inches turning once. Remove, coat lightly with oil and return to broiler 10 minutes, turning once. Mmm.
