i've always viewed blogs as fairly self-righteous if not self-centered endeavors, so it seems somewhat logical that i'm joining one. of course, being the web-savvy antichrist that i am, i am not entirely sure that i did, in fact,
join this blog, but the typing thus far seems to be going ok, so let's stick with it.
i have returned from ukraine, for those who were/are/pretend to be interested. highlights of the trip include prefering the great outdoors to working toilets 9 out of 10 times; drinking vodka with an old, jewish, ladies-man named grigory who made 3 toasts in 10 minutes; being "protected" (and by protected i mean that he stopped traffic for us) by a ukrainian body guard named vulva;

both peeing and frolicking in the most amazing, unreal sunflower field in existence (see photograph of others frolicking in said sunflower field); inhaling lead paint fumes; not showering for four days, during which time coal was shovelled, wood was hauled, and gravel was moved; and learning how to say boobs and nipples in russian (transliterations--
grudj, saskeet).
that is all for now. i am still unemployed, living with my parents, and struggling with the notion of having to choose between making money so that i can move out or doing something potentially interesting and fun.
